A syndicate lake that usually houses scores of bivvy’s has been opened up to match anglers and the early results have been staggering, with huge weights of silvers being landed.
The first event on the water saw the top six share almost 200lb of silvers between them, with perch to over 3lb and roach nudging the 2lb mark being included in catches.
“This water is home to huge shoals of fish that have never been fished for before and they are all in pristine condition. It’s fish a chuck action and virtually any tactic will score heavily,” explained one local.
