Lake exclusive bookings in the UK are becoming increasingly popular and after the recent session that Stephen Vaughan had with some of his friends, it shows the incredible angling opportunities on offer.
Fishing the North Lake at the infamous Elphicks Fishery in Tonbridge, the group had an unbelievable session banking no less than five, 50lb-plus carp that included a 50lb 2oz ghosty, 50lb 5oz common, 51lb 14oz mirror, 52lb 10oz mirror, plus numerous 40lb and 30lb fish.

"A group of 11 friends booked a lake exclusive on North lake at Elphicks Fishery, Tonbridge. Between us all we had 4 different 50's, and one of them came out twice meaning we had 5x 50's in one session," he said.
With the weather being unpredictable recently, Stephen and his friends opted to keep baiting light and fish for a bite at a time using solid bag tactics. This paid off as the results of the session showed, with fish continually being banked during their stay.
"I was using solid bags with the Gemini Tidy Stems and tubing filled with Hinders Mini Combo pellets and pink fake corn as the hookbait."
"The rig was a KD rig using 25lb Fox Camotex Soft with the coating fully stripped off and a Korda Krank size 6," he concluded.
