Oxfordshire's Linear Fisheries has seen a recent spate of hauntings for some of its anglers, with lake record ghost carp being caught from four of its prolific lakes in a matter of days. Whilst they aren't everyone's favourite type of carp, they can be very impressive as these anglers have shown...
Lee Dowding fishing on Unity lake landed 13 carp on his latest session. The biggest being “Apollo” at a massive 45lb and the new lake record ghostie! He also had another ghostie at 35lb during the session.

Travelling from the Isle of Wight, 10 year old Max and Dad Chris landed 14 carp in total from Oxlease. Chris had 5 carp to 25lb 10oz but Max stole the show with 7 carp, including the Oxlease lake record ghosty at 36lb 13oz, which his dad had to help hold at it was too heavy!

On Manor Farm, the Big Ghosty finally made an appearance, after not being seen for months, at a whopping 42lb 14oz! This was caught by Ryan Harrison and is another new ghosty lake record.

Adam Judd, who was fishing on B2 also landed a huge fish when he banked a lovely ghosty that weighed 41lb 2oz, rounding off very spooky week indeed at Linear Fisheries! The fishery is producing loads of huge fish and it may well be time to get down there for yourself!
