Baden Hall Fishery carp record falls twice in a fortnight

Baden Hall Fishery’s big-carp lake sprung to life when it threw up two complex records in less than a fortnight.

Staffordshire-based rod Jamie Edgerton was the first lucky angler to gain the prestigious venue best at  his local water when a huge 38lb 11oz common put in an appearance just half-an-hour after he had set up.

The big carp, which broke his previous best by over 12lb, was fooled by a small pop-up boilie presented over a bed of spod mix at 60yds.

Just days later Jamie’s record was snatched from him by Paul Marsh, who banked the same stunning-looking common carp at 39lb 11oz after it fell for a Dynamite Source boilie.
