Ed Betteridge banked his second 40lb-plus common in a matter of weeks with this 42lb 7oz specimen.
The fish, known as the Dog Common, came on the second morning of a session at a Nene Valley stillwater for the Chub/Greys media manager.
He said: “I only joined the water just over a month ago and I have already banked three of the A-Team. I caught the common from a very silty swim where I had to adjust my rigs to counter my lead sinking into the chod, but the change paid off at dawn on my second morning when my rod burst into life with a screaming take.”
Ed fish hinged stiff rigs made up of Korda components over a kilogram of Mainline Hybrid boilies.
