Cheap worm attack scores at Toft Lakes

An angler that has been outscoring all those around him at his local commercial complex has revealed the bait tricks that have helped him succeed.

Mosella UK rod Keith Haynes has been emptying the Silver Lake and Warwickshire’s Toft Lakes on a weekly basis of its F1 and barbel stocks by employing a number of tricks when using worms.

Although the bait is often seen as an expensive option, Keith is adamant it doesn’t always have to be that way and he said: “I use a handful of worms all day and a bag of micro pellets and have had weights well over 100lb. I’ve adopted a way of fishing that is cheap, easy and most importantly effective.”
