More zander for Old Lake at Bury Hill Fisheries after netting

Visitors to Bury Hill Fisheries in Surry will now be able to fish for some of the biggest zander in the country following the stocking of this 17lb 3oz specimen.

The huge predator was removed along with several double figure fish from the complex’s Temple syndicate lake during a routine netting operation. The fish have now been transferred to the Old Lake for day-ticket anglers to target.

Large shoals of roach were also removed during the process and individual specimens to over 2lb were stocked in to Milton Lake.
