Charity match raises big cash sum for Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Relief was given a boost after a group of match anglers managed to collect over £1,200 for the cause.

Essex’s Puddledock Farm welcomed 65 anglers for the Graham Fletcher and Tony Trollope memorial and all the funds raised on the day were donated to the well-respected outfit.

Top spot in the competition fell to Mick Hood who placed 107lb on the scales. The Bowler’s ace, who was the only man to break the triple figure barrier on the day, used meat and corn short from peg 49 on the Snake Lake for carp to double figures.
