Vote for your favourite British coarse fishery and win great prizes

If you've ever complained that your local coarse fishing venues don’t feature in the pages of Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine, now’s your chance to put that right – we want YOUR help to find the nation’s Top 50 coarse fisheries.

With thousands of venues dotted across the country, naming the best 50 is a job for the Improve Your Coarse Fishing readership and fans of – THIS MEANS YOU!

As the biggest-selling monthly magazine by far, the valued readership of the magazine represents the biggest single group of opinion in fishing and we want you to help us locate the best fisheries in the land and appoint them ‘Readers' Choice Top 50 Fishery Award’ for 2010.

This massive survey, the first of its kind, is open to every single reader of the magazine and visitor to and is directed to open-access fisheries across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Lake, river or canal it doesn’t matter – they all qualify. In fact, the only condition for nominating a particular water is that it must be fishable by all. Exclusive syndicates or clubs that are effectively shut off to new members are not eligible.

We want to find the best day-ticket or club fisheries that any one of us could fish if we decided to visit.

To nominate your fishery as one of Great Britain’s best, all you need to do is fill out the form HERE and email it to the magazine at:

Alternatively, you can complete the form in this month's Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine and post it to the address printed in the magazine.

What you could win...

To thank you for participating in Britain’s biggest fishery survey Bait-Tech has generously sponsored the search by providing a £5,000 bait mountain to give away.

All post and online entries will go in the hat and the first 100 lucky winners drawn will each win a £50 prize pack of superb Bait-Tech products when we make the free draw after May 1. Prizes will include some of the fish-tempting treats shown above plus some brand new products for 2010 that have yet to hit the shops!

There you have it, a brilliant prize could be yours and all you’ve got to do is provide us with a bit of information about what you think makes a fishery THE BEST IN BRITAIN.

Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine will publish the results of the survey later in the year and the champion fishery will feature in a special article starring some of the readers who voted for it.
