Dynamite Baits launches new Terry Hearn boilie

This week sees a host of exciting new products from Dynamite Baits hitting tackle shop shelves, including a new Savoury Spice boilie designed by carp angling legend Terry Hearn.

Forming just part of its 2011 range, Savoury Spice is set to follow in the footsteps of the company’s best-selling boilie of all time, The Source, and utilises the same successful fishmeal and birdfood base mix. To this, Terry and the team at Dynamite has added a mixture of spices, herbs and chillies to create a boilie with a strong and unique aroma.

Glowing reports from Terry and other Dynamite field-testers suggest that the new recipe will prove just as successful as The Source. In fact, the Notts-based firm has been astounded by the results from its team.

“As with all of our new products, we have a team of anglers using the bait for many months prior to launch. Savoury Spice has outperformed even our high expectations, with anglers bagging huge numbers of smaller carp on runs waters, and some big fish on harder waters. The response has been amazing, with the colour and smell both getting a big thumbs up from UK anglers!” said Dynamite’s marketing manager, Steve Cole.

The boilie is available in 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 26mm shelf-life bags priced at £8.99 a kilo, with a 15mm freezer bait option available for the same price. Pop-ups, a Liquid Attractant and Hookbait Dip are available to match.

Two other boilies have also been launched this month, including a Sardine and Anchovy offering designed in conjunction with another carp angling legend, Rod Hutchinson. With a strong fishy flavour and a green tinge of colour, it is sure to be a big hit with both carp and barbel anglers, as is the company’s new Robin Red boilie. Like the Robin Red Liquid, pop-ups and hookbait dip that were all launched last year, to create this boilie Dynamite has teamed up with Haith’s – the company that created the original and best Robin Red powder.

In addition to the boilie, Robin Red Carp Pellets have also been added to the range. Coming in 8mm, 12mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes, many anglers will use them as a loosefeed accompaniment to the boilies, but the pellets have all been pre-drilled so can also be used as hookbaits.

And that’s not all. Following on from the success of the 15mm and 20mm Fluoro Pop-ups last year comes a 10mm version. They are available in all of the same popular flavour and colour combinations and are ideal for when you want a small hookbait or to create snowman style set-ups.

Dynamite’s range of particles has also been expanded with the launch of Frenzied Chilli Tiger Nuts, which are available in 2.5ltr jars and smaller tins, while other new carp/specimen products for the year ahead include a Spicy Tuna and Sweet Chilli Stick Mix and a Green Lipped Mussel Hookbait dip.

On the match and coarse front Dynamite has been pretty quiet, relying on quality rather than quantity with its new launches. A new 2kg Method Mix has been incorporated into the Silver X range and there are also two new Steve Ringer inspired groundbaits in the form of Swim Stim Match and Swim Stim Method Mix. Both come in 2kg bags and represent great value for money.
