Willows is home to the venue’s biggest residents, with carp to over 25lb present. They can often be seen cruising close to one of the four islands that are part of the lake’s make-up, so cast a chunk of breadcrust or an oiled dog biscuit at them and it won’t be long before the bait is slurped down!

Oak Tree Pond is reserved purely for pleasure fishing, and carp that run well into double figures are the target of most visitors. Top General Lake is home to some stunningly marked carp, with ghosties and colourful koi stocked. Pegs 1 and 10 tend to produce best, as the slightly longer walk to these swims makes them less popular, and quieter.
