How long does Black Friday 2023 last?

Black Friday falls on Friday, 24 November 2023, but this year, the weeks leading up to it and after it will be jam-packed with deals, too. Cyber Monday is another big day for shoppers as more and perhaps even better discounts are given to popular items.

Don't forget to bookmark this page for all the shopping fun, and if you're searching for something else, take a look at Amazon's deal pages here, where you'll find amazing discounts all year long.

How to find the best Black Friday Deals 2023

Black Friday began in America and primarily revolved around tech and electronic goods going on sale right after Thanksgiving in an effort to entice customers to begin Christmas shopping. Now it’s moved over to the UK and you’ll find massive discounts on everything fishing related too, not just tech, and is now the biggest day of the year for retailers. If you're looking for a bargain, this is definitely the time of year to find one!

Our top tips for Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Be Social Media Savvy

During the run up and during Black Friday itself, it pays to be vigilant when scrolling through social media or when deleting emails in your inbox, why? Because online retailers will be sending out information and exclusive deals to those signed up or who like their pages, some of the best deals just appear when you least expect them.

Make sure to keep checking our round-up guides if you are after something particular, as we will be updating them regularly to not only find you the best deals out there on the best tackle available, but to save you time and stress too!

Pinpoint the websites and retailers that have everything

Some smaller, individual brand websites can often break when the massive traffic volumes begin to descend during the Black Friday madness, so it can often pay to check the larger retailers that have multiple brands in stock. Their websites can often cope better with the load so you wont miss out, that being said, many smaller pages will honour the deal or extend them when they are back up and running again so don't be put off.

Amazon, Total Fishing TackleVery.co.uk and Fishing Republic will (hopefully) all be able to cope with the huge demand.

Setup online accounts beforehand

If you do a lot of online shopping via different retailers it can be time consuming registering or paying as a guest on every site, it is much easier to sign up and have your details logged. Doing this makes the process so much more efficient, allowing you to focus on finding the deals.

It can also be a great time to sign up for Amazon Prime, your 30 day free trial will unlock free next day delivery, which will cover any purchases you make over Black Friday, saving you extra money!

Sign up for newsletters, updates and follow pages

Whilst emails may clog up your inbox for the rest of the year, signing up to receive newsletters from retailers can often be the best way to get exclusive deals. They will often send specific discount codes for extra money off items, which can the found anywhere else. TOP TIP we like to use an alias email that is only used for newsletters, this makes sifting through much easier as there are no personal emails and it stops you being inundated on your main email address too!

You can also follow our social media and our deals pages for some incredible deals too.

Stay up until midnight on Thursday

As Black Friday comes to you, you can do it from the comfort of your home! A lot of the best deals go live at Midnight so if you are really savvy and a true bargain hunter staying up those few extra hours can really be worth it.

Stick to your budget

This is one point we cannot highlight enough, times are difficult with the cost of living at the moment so please don't stretch yourself if you cant afford to, deals will always return at some point. Our advice is, if you really have to question it, its probably not worth the outlay at this time, or wait as a better deal might just come round later in the Black Friday sales.

Are Black Friday deals good value for money?

In previous years, waiting until Black Friday itself was the best strategy for the best savings on products. However in recent years, down to consumer demand, retailers have begun to extend their deals which can start from the end of October right through until Black Friday weekend. Whilst we do often see extra discounts on Black Friday, don't always assume the deal you see today will get better, if you're happy with the price then thats a great deal for you!

When do Black Friday Sales end?

Whilst the official Black Friday Sale is on Friday 24th November 2023, we have seen deals before this date and so far have seen deals extended beyond with any still live now, but be quick as we can't guarantee how long these deals will continue.
