Incredible run of form results in another huge bream

Leicestershire angler Lee Snow’s fine spring bream campaign went up another notch last week when he landed this superb specimen scaling 19lb 1oz.

It follows hot on the heels of his capture of a 17lb 3oz fish, while his 15-year-old son Alfie also got in on the action with an 18lb 11oz bream few weeks ago.

Lee is targeting arock-hard 90-acre pit, where the fish have proved hard to locate. The nineteen-pounder came on the only bite of his latest session and fell to an artificial corn and caster hookbait fished 90 yards out down a slope behind a bar.

Minimal feeding is key to Lee’s approach, as he’s found that for really big fish, just a handful of mixed feed, including hemp, corn and casters, is enough to buy a bite.

Another massive slab for Lee, what a run of form he is in!
