Many anglers will never catch a double figure bream during their fishing lives, and even if they aren't your favourite fish, you can certainly appreciate just how impressive this latest haul of bream from specimen angler Ian Hannaby is.
“On a recent bream session at a Midlands stillwater, I enjoyed a great result. Over 40 hours’ fishing I landed eight bream, all of which were doubles," Ian told us!
"The biggest was this specimen of 15lb 2oz, with the others weighing between 10lb 11oz and 14lb 2oz."
“I targeted gravel bars 60 yards out, where I fed a mixture of dead red pinkies, micro pellets and liquidised sweetcorn, andfished maggot hookbaits over the top. Most of the bites came during daylight hours, with a few at dawn and dusk.”
