Lee Kerry proved why many rate him as the best feeder angler in the land as he won two giant matches in as many days.

The England international headed to Doncaster’s Southfield Reservoir to compete in the opening round of the Bait-Tech Feedermaster Super League. A field made up of 15 teams of four were on show, with superstars including Darren Cox and current Feeder World Champion Michael Buchwalder involved.

Drawn on peg 69, Lee showed his class and finished the day with 53lb to secure a comfortable individual win.

He returned a day later for the Feedermasters qualifier, and his opponents found him in the same form, with a 46lb 3oz haul of bream and skimmers from peg 16 enough to win again and gain him a place in the prestigious final.

A combination of simple feeder rigs with groundbait and lots of particles such as worms, maggots and casters proved to be the most successful method over the two days, with the fish seemingly wanting lots of feed.

USING THE BEST RODS FOR FEEDER FISHING WILL HELP IMPROVE YOUR DISTANCE AND ACCURACY.
