While the predator fishing season on many of our big reservoirs has now closed, a few anglers managed to sneak in a final session before the shutdown, among whom was Tom Flynn.
During a session afloat to celebrate his mate’s birthday, he landed this very plump 4lb 14oz perch after it grabbed his small, naturally-coloured shad.
Tom described the sight of the fish going into the net as one of his ‘best angling moments’.
