Four-year-old Harry Poxon had a surprise catch on his recent fishing trip with his dad Anthony, hooking a large and rare specimen fish he could barely lift up for a photo.
Fishing a Nottinghamshire syndicate water, the pair had caught a few carp on the previous visit, but this time hooked something entirely different and far more unusual - a giant ide.

"His immediate response to the stunning fish was, 'oh my gosh, Daddy, I don't think I'll be able to lift that,'" Anthony told us.
"On trying to, he said 'I told you I couldn't', before asking if he could wipe his slimy hands on my hoodie!"
The awesome fish weighed 7lb 6oz and was caught on a barrel wafter fished over a bed of groundbait - great work, young man!
The current British record ide is a river fish weighing 8lb 5oz, putting this specimen up there with some of the biggest examples of the species in the entire country.
