Some of the biggest names in fishing, plus England football legend David Seaman, are attending a brand-new fishing event this summer, and you can join them.

‘Catch of the Day’ has been set up by Willow, a charity that provides ‘special experience days’ for seriously ill young adults aged between 16 and 40.

The event, held at Linear Fisheries on the August 3, is hoping to raise significant funds, with participants able to fish alongside the likes of Scott Lloyd, Tom Maker and Damian Clarke. David Seaman will be on the bank too as he’s the charity’s honorary president.

“As a keen fisherman, it’s an honour to be able to host this event on behalf of Willow,” David said.

“It combines two of my passions: fishing and supporting this amazing charity that helps create lasting memories for young adults who are going through a very tough time.”
