A UK angler has seen their personal best carp jump up by a ridiculous 57lb following a trip to Etang Rendezvous in France.
Jason Reed was the lucky angler who smashed his 15lb PB with this enormous 72lb common carp, one of the biggest fish in the French holiday venue.

"I was quite apprehensive about the trip, as I'm very new to carp fishing," he told us.
"My friends that were going with me are way more experienced anglers, but I've always loved to join them on fishing trips for good company, laughs and a lot of tips!
"With that, I have found a new love/hobby that just totally helps me relax and unwind."

On catching the giant fish, Jason admitted he had become the envy of many on the lake and even his family.
"My father in law is an avid angler, and has been since the 1970s, he said that most anglers will wait a lifetime to catch a fish like that, and I should relish the moment, as it may well be my best catch ever," Jason said.
"I'm still absolutely in shock and have to keep pinching myself, it feels like I won the lottery, I'm over the moon and what a fish it was too!"
