Tackle giant pledges charity support

SHAKESPEARE Fishing is offering £1,000 worth of free tackle every month to an angling-related charity in a move aimed at encouraging more newcomers into fishing.

The brand is launching the scheme to help maintain the momentum of angling’s current boom in popularity, and it will work through anglers nominating a charity or project online. Each month Shakespeare will draw three of these at random, and a winner will then be voted for.

Dave McCartney, Senior Marketing Manager at Pure Fishing said:

“Every month we’ll gift an angling related charity £1,000 to spend on Shakespeare gear to support developing new skills, confidence and excitement.”

To nominate your chosen charity, go to Shakespeare’s Facebook page and click on the Fishing Fund link.
