While fishing a syndicate water in Worcester, 14-year-old Zak Kendrick caught this fine female pike weighing 31lb 4oz.

It powered away from the bank before splashing about on the surface, at which point Zak was in no doubts as to its impressive size.
Eventually, he had it in the net, and once it was weighed, Zak gazed in awe at the mighty predator, which is the best catch he’s made to date in his young fishing career.
