“I’ve had a few great sessions over the past month or so, starting off on the Hampshire Avon, where I landed this 16lb 1oz barbel. I arrived just before dark, and the stretch was busy, but I found a quiet margin that I’d been dripping bait into for a few days.
“After casting my 12mm boilie out, an hour into dark the tip wrapped round and I hit into a powerful fish that held bottom well and which turned out to be this stunning ‘sixteen’.
