See the world's greatest anglers live at the Gofishing Show

Some of the world’s greatest anglers are set to appear at this year’s Go Fishing Show, which is to be hosted at Staffordshire’s Cudmore Fisheries on July 17 and 18.
Superstars from the world of match and specimen angling will be present to pass on tips and tactics that are certain to make you a better angler.

Internationally-renowned anglers Alan Scotthorne, Bob Nudd and Tommy Pickering will each make an appearance on the World Champs alley to talk through the tactics that helped them win an incredible 10 individual gold medals between them.

The trio will relive the memories of their outstanding achievements and will display the rigs that helped them fend off competition from a top-class field of anglers.

There will also be ample opportunity for you to ask any questions you have regarding their achievements.

Matt and Mick cast off

Every angler always aspires to try something new, and angling stars Matt Hayes and Mick Brown will show you just how easy it is to catch coarse species on flyfishing tackle.

Both Matt and Mick have spent months on end perfecting the act of flyfishing for carp, roach, bream and tench, and the dynamic duo are now set to share their simple tips and tricks to help you conquer this deadly tactic.

“Flyfishing for coarse species is really starting to take off and it is a tactic that will easily outscore all others on its day. We want to prove it isn’t as complicated as some people think, and we are confident that every visitor to the Go Fishing Show will be itching to try it themselves once we’ve revealed exactly how to do it,” explained Matt.

Wilson and Bowler’s top TV catches revealed

On-screen superstars Martin Bowler and John Wilson will be in the TV dome to reveal the greatest specimens they have ever landed in front of the cameras.

Legend John will talk onlookers through his most memorable catches from the hit Go Fishing series, and is set to go into great detail about the mammoth efforts that were required to tempt each fish.

Angling Times columnist Martin Bowler dedicated several years to creating the breathtaking Catching the Impossible series and will show a number of spectacular clips from the programme.

Both anglers have landed hundreds of incredible fish over the years, but which ones do they treasure the most? The only way to find out is by visiting the TV dome at this year’s Go Fishing Show.
