Sunday July 13 will see the River Nene Embankment in Peterborough burst into a hive of activity as 14 of the country’s top match teams do battle for the coveted silver trophy, the FA cup of fishing to many, including England internationals, world champions and the biggest names on the match scene. The action gets underway at 11am on Sunday 13th July with the match running from the Railworld section above the Town Bridge right through to the North Bank. Someone somewhere will find the bream and be celebrating the individual title but for the rest, a decent net of roach and skimmers will do nicely to help their team’s assault on the title.
