BIRMINGHAM-FAZELEY CANAL, CURDWORTH, W MIDS
This area of canal contains a huge head of silverfish and plenty of zander feeding off them.

COVENTRY CANAL, BEDWORTH, WARKS
The Hawkesbury Junction area is a hotspot but most places on this canal contain the species.

FOSSDYKE CANAL, LINCOLN, N LINCS
One of the few venues up North which contains zander but well worth a visit. Be patient and look for obvious features.

GRAND UNION CANAL, MILTON KEYNES, BUCKS
The inner-city stretches hold plenty of zander with Linford and Fenny Stratford the best areas to try.

GRAND UNION CANAL, STOKE BRUERNE, NORTHANTS
The bottom lock area and the long pound are known hotspots for plenty of small zander. Nether Heyford, a few miles north is also worth a visit.

The Lure Canal Anglers have recently taken on this stretch and it has already proven its potential with plenty of zander to over 5lb already banked.

GLOUCESTER CANAL, HEMPSTED, GLOUCS
Between the docks at Bristol and up to Hempsted you will find some of the best canal zander fishing in the UK with fish well into double-figures.

A small zander was caught here in a match recently and rumours of other captures have been made since the canal became popular with drop-shotting anglers.
