How to catch bream from Clumber Park Lake

Angling Times can this week lift the lid on one of the most prolific big-bream waters in the North, which is regularly throwing up double-figure fish to day-ticket anglers fishing simple feeder rigs.

Devout matchman Nick Speed realised the potential of Clumber Park Lake during a recent session in which he banked five bream for 49lb, the biggest a cracker of 11lb 1oz, fishing simple Method feeder tactics with a piece of plastic sweetcorn on the hook.

With the fish feeding well, Nick was keen to visit the Nottinghamshire venue again, situatied in the popular country park in prime Robin Hood Country.
