The growing average size of fish in Brasenose One was ably illustrated by Robert Burgess as he bagged three thirties and nine twenties in 72 hours.
The Hertfordshire angler caught 19 fish in total at the well-stocked Oxfordshire day-ticket water after baiting heavily. The three biggest carp went 32lb 14oz, 31lb 1oz and 30lb 12oz. He also snared a 29lb 6oz fish.
The 30-year-old TV aerial engineer introduced an initial 5kg of 12mm and 16mm Sticky Krill boilies and corn to a spot 120 yards out and then topped up with two or three Spombs of bait every hour.
Robert fished Krill wafters topped with fake corn on combi rigs made with 20lb Korda IQ, supple braid and size 6 Kaptor Kurvs.
