The countdown to one of the UK’s biggest and best fishing shows has begun.
A staggering 210 exhibitors from all over Europe will be in attendance at the 2015 ‘The Big One’ show which is being held at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire this weekend.
Visitors to the show will be able to take advantage of 30 more tackle stands than last year’s event and rub shoulders with angling greats such as four-time World champion Bob Nudd, Tommy Pickering, Des Taylor, river legend Dave Harrell, plus top carpers such as Korda’s Danny Fairbrass and Nash’s Alan Blair.
The show also prides itself in crowd interaction during its live instructional seminars which will see Angling Times columnists Steve Ringer and Paul Garner share their knowledge.
Brands such as Maver, Preston Innovations, Korda and Fox will join Daiwa, which is making its first show appearance in a decade as well as Comic Tackle who are making the trip from Italy for the first time.
“The show is a chance for angling fans to meet and learn from the World’s best anglers and view the tackle products of the future that are not available to see anywhere else”. Said event organiser Vince Davies.
As well as nearly 4-acres of coarse sea and game tackle including lure testing tanks and pole alleys, visitors will also be able to buy and test new gear, join angling clubs, view and book UK and World holidays as well as enjoy the show’s host of catering and entertainment facilities.
Four-Times World Champion, Bob Nudd added: “Anglers won’t have many better opportunities than this to come and get tips and advice from the best anglers in the business.
“This event is going to be massive and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
