This Amazon red tail catfish is just one of the many exotic species stocked into angling legend John Wilson’s lake just a short cast from his new home in Thailand.
The four-acre venue - Bung Sawan, which translates to Lake Garden - has been lovingly developed by the Go Fishing star and includes a range of fast-growing fish among them arapaima, siamese carp and many varieties of catfish.
Exclusive trips to fish the lake and meet John at his new home which can be booked through the Fish Thailand holiday company.
But if you want the chance to catch up with John without jetting off to Thailand then he’s flying back to the UK in May 2014 to take the winner of a very special charity match out for a morning’s fishing followed by lunch at one of his favourite Norfolk pubs.
An entry fee of just £15 will buy a ticket to take part in a pike fishing match that’s being staged at Lenwade Charity Lakes in John’s home county of Norfolk on Sunday, March 23rd 2014, where all proceeds will be donated to the National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) .
There are limited places available so to book your ticket contact Angling Direct on: 01603 400757 and to enquire about visiting John’s Thailand fishery contact Fish Thailand at: www.fishthailand.co.uk
