Krill foils 37lb common carp from Linch Hill

This immaculate 37lb 6oz common was Adam Smith’s reward for a three-night session on Linch Hill’s taxing Stoneacres.

Having made the long journey up to Oxfordshire from Plymouth in Devon, Adam extracted the classic-looking common from a hole in the weed at 50yrds.

A kilogram of Sticky Krill boilies were put out on the spot and a matching critically balanced hookbait was presented on a multi rig.

Said Adam: “Even though we are only in early June, I am already having my best season ever on this notoriously hard lake.”

The 41-year-old’s successful rigs featured 20lb Korda N-Trap Silt and size 6 Korda Choddy hooks.
