An expansive Norfolk club water is proving not so daunting for Will Bale as he continues to bank the venue’s elusive residents.
The 20-year-old latest capture is this mid-twenty mirror which fell on the first cast of a short floater-fishing session.
The Suffolk angler said: “I found five fish in a small bay sitting under some scum and I put out two pouches of floaters in a big spread. Within 10 minutes two of them were taking them relatively confidently. I cast at the bigger of the two fish and hooked it first time after about 30 seconds.
“It fought very hard which wasn’t ideal on floater gear but luckily it stuck to the open water and after about 15 minutes she was in the net.”
