Tackle-shop boss Nina Dance set a new lake record at Fox Lake in France with this giant 76lb 1oz mirror.
The Berkshire angler, who runs Crowthorne Angling, tackled the Abbey Lakes venue with particles and boilies and caught the big one on the final night of a six-day stay.
She said: “The fish, known as Humpy, was caught from peg eight on Fox Lake. I played him for 25 minutes and we struggled to get him in a 42ins net! Rupert Whiteman the bailiff came out to take pics and verify the catch. I also had fish of 28lb 14oz and 43lb 11oz.
“I was fishing at 38 yards in a deep gully over a bed of particles and a good squirt of Korda Coconut Surpreme Goo a loose feed of 18mm Mainline Hybrid boilies.
“The bait was three grains of maize topped off with the Korda slow-sinking plastic maize on a size 4 Avid LSK hook with a 20lb Korda N-Trap hooklink and Fox Exocet 18lb mainline.”
