32lb mirror carp from North East syndicate

The North East isn’t renowned for its specimen carp – so Martin Brady had every reason to smile when he banked this 32lb 2oz – the biggest in the region - from a tricky syndicate water close to his Hartlepool home.

The 35-year-old warehouseman had been prebaiting an area with Sticky Krill boilies for several weeks and fooled the impressive specimen, which has avoided capture for over two years, with a Krill White One pop-up on a hinged-stiff rig over a kilo of free offerings.
