Bryson Bell is carving out a fine reputation for bagging scaly Oxfordshire carp, as this latest beauty affirms.
The 21-year-old Essex rod managed this 28-pounder during a three-night stay at Christchurch Lake on the Linch Hill complex.
The fish, which came on the first night, fell to a white 12mm Sticky Krill pop-up soaked in matching glug. It was fished on a blowback rig with a 5oz lead in a hole in the weed at 60 yards. The rig was made with a size 7 ACE Medium Curve Shank hook tied to Thinking Anglers Tungskin.
