Daiwa Gordon League take the Sensas Challenge Final

Daiwa Gordon League proved that you can’t beat a bit of local knowledge when they triumphed in the Sensas Challenge Final last weekend on the Gloucester Canal.

The outfit targeted big fish such as bream or perch on the long pole with maggots, to post a 28 penalty point score, five ahead of Kamasan Starlets, in a strong field which included teams from France.

On the individual front, it was Ultimate Barnsley team man Lee Kerry who triumphed, the only angler to record two section wins over the weekend event. He was largely helped by a second day match win with 21lb 14oz of bream.
