Martin Pierce enjoyed a memorable session on a southern park lake taking two forties weighing 42lb 11oz and 41lb 2oz as part of an impressive 11 fish haul.
The 41-year-old, London-based scaffolder had to brave 60mph winds and move swims several times during his week session on the venue to stay on top of the carp.
All of his fish were taken on snowman style hookbaits consisting a 14mm bottom bait from Individual Baits Steamies and a 12mm pop-up. These were mounted on size 10 30Plus Black Camo hooks 10lb Middy Flurocrystal hooklinks.
As well as the intended carp, Martin landed 20 bream between 7lb and 11lb and a tench of 8lb 2oz.
