A 15-year-old angler battled a monster 12 foot-long tiger shark off the Florida coast for over 10 hours.
Fishing in the annual Outcast Mega Shark Tournament, school boy Chase Jackson hooked into the 878lb 8oz predator 19 miles off the coast.
At first he thought it was a small specimen, but nearly half-a-day later he was still attached to the fish.
“We almost gave up,” said Chase back on shore, “It was so tough, and took all of us to get it to the boat.“
