Thousands of anglers are adjusting their TV sets to Sky Sports on Monday nights for the brand new match fishing series, Absolute Match Fishing.
The programme aired for the first time last week and enjoyed viewing figures way beyond even host Tommy Pickering's wildest dreams.
The former World Champ is joined on the programme by match angling heavyweights like Des Shipp, Andy Findlay, Lee Edwards, Lee Kerry, Neil McKinnon and Tommy's own daughter and England International, Emma Pickering.
"It's such a great show and features loads of tips on how to win more matches," he said. "The hype from the first showing has been overwhelming. Everyone is buzzing about it on the bank. I'm delighted with the response."
The show features loads of tactical tips and hints from match fishing's finest. Tommy and the gang visit commercial carp meccas like Barston and Woodlands View in the Midlands, along with rivers and canals at Stainforth and Evesham. There'll also be angling masterclasses at Whiteacres, and Tommy's 'home turf', Lindholme Lakes. .
"It's exciting to be on Sky TV with a match fishing series. Myself and the guests on the show reveal some big match fishing edges and cover all the most effective modern tactics," added Tommy.
