New coarse fishery opened

A five year campaign to turn a wasteland into a scenic fishery has come to an end and the gates to Warwick Wold Waters have now been opened.

The Surrey complex is home to four well stocked and picturesque lakes which hold almost 100 pegs between them and venue boss Phil Brown is now welcoming large numbers of fishermen on a daily basis.

Early reports suggest the venue is set to be a hit with locals, with carp to double figures and good bags of silvers being landed in the opening sessions.
