Four wins in four years for Valley School

Valley School has won the Angling Trust Daiwa Schools’ National for the fourth consecutive year.


The Worksop side finished 18 points clear of runners-up Carlton Community College at the event held at Hallcroft Fishery, Nottinghamshire yesterday. The Valley School team that beat 20 other teams to take the title consisted of Liam Ainsworth, Lewis Robinson, Robbie Moore, Dean Northage and Oliver Hipkiss.


Valley School’s Lewis Robinson also took individual glory for the second year in a row with 14kg 580 caught from peg B14 on the Moat Outer Pool. Eleven-year-old Courtney Hyde took second place with 12kg 980 from the same lake.
