A commercial fishery that was written off as a thing of the past has proved it is still capable of producing the goods by throwing up a new match record.
Cambridgeshire’s Yoke Hill Fishery lost a lot of its loyal followers when owner Pam Jessiman sold the complex a number of years ago but she is now back in the hot seat and has made a number of sweeping changes that has helped draw back the anglers.
One man that has been impressed by the rejuvenated venue is Bag Em Baits rod Steve Oswick. The local rod managed to break the match record with 133lb and has become the man to beat.
