They are virtually maintenance free, incorporating sealed bearings, and spin sublimely for the very best bait presentation possible.
Available in both 4.5ins (£299) and 5ins (£329) models.

Celebrating 25 Years of Adcock Stanton

The Adcock Stanton name is steeped in history.
In 1938 Harry Reynolds began making fishing reels for his friends at the Stanton Iron Works in Sandiacre, Notts, where he was an engineer. Local anglers referred to it as ‘The Reynolds Reel’.
Because so many of the materials used came from the Stanton Iron Works, this reel later became known as The Stanton and is now highly sought after by collectors.
Cliff Adcock was able to keep the name going after Harry was tragically killed in a motor accident in 1968.
Alas, the time came when Cliff Adcock decided to retire and it looked as if the Adcock Stanton name would fall by the wayside, like so many other examples of fine British engineering.
Fortunately for all, Ray Hyland stepped into the breach thanks to a chance meeting in 2008.
As an angler with 45 years of experience, Ray contacted Cliff Adcock to ask him to make an alteration to the Adcock Stanton reel he’d owned for over 20 years.
They later met and talked enthusiastically about centrepins, and within a short time it was agreed that the Adcock Stanton reel would be relaunched.
Ray Hyland’s first task was to  bring this much loved classic up to date, and having been presented with the new version late in 2008 Cliff told Ray that he had produced a far better reel than he had.
