Bait-Tech has announced that its hugely popular Voodoo Method mix will have a new name – Karma.
It still contains all the winning ingredients that made the meaty-smelling Voodoo groundbait so successful, but the company has been forced to change its title due to a name clash in Europe.
Bait-Tech’s marketing manager Wendy Lythgoe explains more:
“When Voodoo was launched in 2007, it became very popular. It’s now proved successful right across Europe and that’s where the problem has arisen. The name Voodoo is already registered in Germany outside the fishing trade and due to EU trademark law we’ve had to change it to Karma.
“It’s the same recipe and the packaging remains the same, just with a new name,” added Wendy.
Karma is a fast breakdown Method mix that comes supplied in 2kg bags priced at £5.99 and 1kg bags, which sell for £3.40.
