Cheats Out Despite The Cold

January saw the Environment Agency take over 600 rod licence cheats to court where they were forced to pay over £85,000 in fines and costs.

The Midlands saw the most offenders caught, with 121 being dragged before Magistrates to pay the penalty for fishing without a valid rod licence.

The south, south west and Anglian regions saw the fewest cheats out on the bank.
